Dressed to the Nines in Cacharel

“A sweet young girl,
Dressed to the nines in Cacharel,
Oh, under the weather, my heels click together,
And following her is hell”
— The Long Blondes (that band were sartorial bliss)

Of all the full skirts that have swished and sashayed down the catwalks for AW10/11, I think this one is my favourite in terms of cut/shape. And I love that slicked down hair, revealing just one Sixties cat-eye.

Considering that the label is perhaps best known for its perfumes, I think Cacharel’s cloth-cutting capabilities are somewhat underrated.

One more underrated aspect of the fashion house: their choice of typography. BEAUTIFUL. Possibly my favorite font ever (alongside Too Gallant’s very own Archer, naturally).
