Forget the commemorative plates, the apps, the virtual wedding card you can sign on Facebook to wish Prince William and the lovely Catherine (formerly known as “Kate”) well.
With tomorrow’s pending royal nuptials less than 24 hours away, whether you are caught up in the frenzy (or lack thereof) it will be Friday somewhere. And, what you need is a drink.
No one does G&T (that’s gin & tonic, kids) better than the British. Now, if you can just get yourself to Harvey Nicks – or better yet – get them to ship you some commemorative Royal Wedding tonic water you’ll be all set. Selling at £1.25 – it’s a downright bargain compared to those old Charles and Diana plates still creeping around on eBay.
And, it’s environmentally friendly, too. 100% recyclable — or able to be relabeled for any other suitable occasion.
