The Bradford Watch: Simple, Stylish & Elegant

We just learned about a new watch company — Bradford Watch Company whose philosophy is “less is more.” With the trend towards smart watches and having every device we interact with “connected“, we were thrilled to see a new brand focused on what watches are supposed to do well — tell the time and look fabulous.

Quite frankly, even though I was in the connected device space for several years, representing clients who were monitoring and storing all that “learneddata in the cloud somewhere, I’m one of those people who feel that we‘ve gone a bit too far.  Simplicity is a beautiful thing.

And, having your body “always on” and always connected, even if via a low level Bluetooth signal, isn’t healthy emotionally and I’d even argue physically. As humans, we shouldn’t be connected all the time – our systems need a break from all things tech. After all, what’s wrong with a beautiful time piece doing what it’s best at — telling you the time while making your wrist look oh so stylin’.
