We just learned about a new watch company — Bradford Watch Company whose philosophy is “less is more.” With the trend towards smart watches and having every device we interact with “connected“, we were thrilled to see a new brand focused on what watches are supposed to do well — tell the time and look fabulous.
Quite frankly, even though I was in the connected device space for several years, representing clients who were monitoring and storing all that “learned” data in the cloud somewhere, I’m one of those people who feel that we‘ve gone a bit too far. Simplicity is a beautiful thing.
And, having your body “always on” and always connected, even if via a low level Bluetooth signal, isn’t healthy emotionally and I’d even argue physically. As humans, we shouldn’t be connected all the time – our systems need a break from all things tech. After all, what’s wrong with a beautiful time piece doing what it’s best at — telling you the time while making your wrist look oh so stylin’.

Their watches are created for people who want a timepiece that is simple, stylish, and appropriate for every occasion. We were thrilled when they offered to send product to us to test out. As an old world gal, I appreciate classic, clean designs and Bradford does this well. You won’t find me wearing a chunky techie watch regardless of how many things it promises to do.
Initial Bradford Watch Companycollections include the Claypool (44 mm slim classic design) and the Taylor (40 mm slim elegant design). Each model comes in a choice of gold or steel finishes and is equipped with an oil-tanned genuine leather band in both black and brown.

Each timepiece is backed by a 60 day, no questions asked, 100% return policy, and a 3-year warranty on the mechanical operation. You can go their website for more information about them and how to order.
