We love the New Living Expo event and have been going now for several years. This year, we’re a media partner and will be there over the weekend at a booth, so be sure to show up and say hello. What’s to love about this event?
First, it’s an Expo first and foremost, so there are over 180 exhibitors to visit offering wellness products, services and solutions. When you want to take a break from the show floor, you can take in a number of topical discussion panels and interactive workshops. Ongoing during the Expo are hourly lectures and drop-in yoga and qigong classes. Abundant healthy and vegan dining choices are available on site and picnic tables are outside on the lawn. We always love the Indian food vendors there every year.
It’s held at the San Mateo Event Center and there’s plenty of secured parking on-site. The event kicks off on Friday, April 26 in the afternoon and includes an award-winning documentary film on the mystery surrounding the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, titled Searching for the Lotus Born Master. All of the speakers and exhibitors offer innovative and easily implemented methods to increase healthy living for mind, body and soul.
While you may not expect to find so many top names at an event in San Mateo, think again. Marianne Williamson who has graced their stage in previous years is back again, but this year, as a 2020 Presidential Candidate. Medical intuitive and speaker Caroline Myss and world-renowned psychic and the original ‘Ghost Whisperer,’ James Van Praagh are back again this year as well — we love their work. As I wrote in last year’s article, Carolyn Myss is always powerful on stage and this year like last, she will talk with the audience in the main hall talking about how to make power choices and creative decisions in our lives. One of her other amazing gifts is teaching people how we can better navigate in these unstable times of chaos and possibility in healthier ways.
Last year, James Van Praagh led attendees through a meditation followed by guidance on how to connect with your Guides and Angels in the Spiritual Realm and is back again for more mediumship magic. Speaking of connecting to the “Other Side,” I wrote a comprehensive piece on the Ascension panel, moderated by Debra Giusti last year as well. There are so many amazing panels which you can attend and while some of the A lister speakers, teachers and authors charge an additional fee for their workshops, they’re not significant and well worth it. And, so many of the sessions are free for those who simply buy a regular day pass.
Also back this year is UFO expert David Wilcock, spiritual healer Kimberly Meredith and Graham Hancock, an expert in indigenous wisdom. The Expo’s bookstore, where book signings take place, is one of the largest of its kind at any lifestyle event and we always enjoy the energy there every year as well.
Tickets are a no brainer at $20 for a day pass and $30 for two days or $35 for all three days. As noted above, special events require separate admission but between the panel discussions, talks, break out rooms and the Expo, there’s so much to explore. And, as many readers know, we’re huge fans of gems and crystals and there are several amazing vendors with high quality stones from Brazil, Afghanistan, Iran, China, South Africa and beyond. The New Living Expo is not to be missed!
Head on over to their website for more information including how to get tickets and the full range of speakers.
