There are many things about cycling that make it convenient. The freedom of weaving in and out of traffic, ones ability to set their own pace and the flexibility of being able to get on and off, to name a few. Cycling one of the best ways to get from A to B.
But a frustrating thing about a two wheeled journey is something going wrong, like getting a flat tyre, a broken chain, loose brakes or even a bout of low blood sugar. While the idea of an AA for cyclists hasn’t fully taken off, other ideas have emerged like this delightful bike part vending machine.
Highly convenient and quite functional, the folks at Bike Fixtation, are on to a good thing. It’s a genius invention really. The area around the machine serves as a fixing station so that people can drop in and get what they need to continue on their journey. The pilot location for this vending machine is on a major commuter route in Minneapolis inside Uptown Station, with plans to roll it out to other locations. We can’t wait to see more of these popping up.
