Right on the beach, Pure Spa, an oh so luxe spa inside the four star Pelican Grand Hotel, has your name on a reservation, so what are you waiting for? In other words, aren’t you worth a little pampering next time you’re in South Florida? They refer to themselves as the intimate luxury spa and there’s a whole lotta personalization which you’ll love.
When next in Fort Lauderdale, book a suite on one of the upper floors of the Pelican Grand (I loved my stay) and reserve a massage or facial on the top floor, which has some of the most incredible views you’re ever likely to get from a spa. Inside and out.
The colors inside are warm, but fun, right down to the towels you use before and after your treatment.
In between the foyer and sitting area where you check in, there’s an outside patio where you can hang out while having a cuppa tea. Here, you can take in the views with fresh air blowing on your face.
Spectacular views from the treatment room too — note to self: show up a lot earlier next time.
Inside, there’s a spa tub which also had a view. BTW, I couldn’t find one spot in the spa that didn’t have a stunning view.
Below, right before my treatment, champagne in hand. Life is sweet!
This is the treatment room – just look at those windows and those views? It’s impossible not to relax in such a spectacular environment. They’ve got the music, lighting and overall ambiance nailed and the staff is incredibly warm and flexible.
Treatments are varied and while you can certainly get a manicure and pedicure, why would you if you can go for one of their top end anti-aging facials, which I opted for. And, they have several.
