I love swimwear and everything attached to it: cover-ups, matching sandals, bags, and fun colored accessories. There are well known brands you likely know but so many of them are made for women with petite frames and their designs simply don’t flatter women over 40.
I was recently introduced to a swimwear line that is designed to minimize those unwanted lines and bulges you want to hide: Mei L’ange.
The great thing about the Mei L’ange swimwear line is that they’re alluring, elegant and all things luxury. Designer Eefje Sarah Dierickx combines her background of graphic art, color and architecture to create a sophisticated style that is both feminine and chic. A few selections below so you can get an idea of their style.
My favorite? The Ella Ruched Maillot pictured below. The suits are made using extraordinarily soft and high quality premium fabrics. While we haven’t had time to put them to the test over a long stint yet (aka several washes and swims), there’s a sense of durability about the fabric that feels like it’s meant to last.
We plan to test them out during our next warm weather trip later this spring/early summer, so be sure to follow along on our Instagram feed for live posting of this line on the ground at an upcoming resort, beach or pool.
This line is definitely contemporary and while I opted for a couple of suits in a solid deep blue, there are also some patterned options as shown above and below. For more information on this chic swimsuit line, visit their site at http://meilange.com.
