Schwartz’s Deli isn’t your typical Montreal restaurant and quite possibly resembles an eatery you’d find in Paris in attitude. The restaurant is busy, noisy and sometimes rude, and it isn’t uncommon to hear chefs yelling.
Why go there? Even if you’re not into Schwartz-kinda fare, it’s definitely worth tasting their smoked meat sandwiches. YUM!! Better than some of those fabulous New York delis, you’ll get hot smoked meat piled high between two slides of rye bread and as much mustard as you’d like.
