While the Las Vegas LVC may not may anything to shake a stick at and the on-the-strip options such as the Venetian, the Bellagio, Paris, the Wynn and others offer much luxurious options, the LVC Spa surprised me. I’m not even sure I would have guessed they “had a spa,” but was pleasantly surprised by a much better then expected spa list, massage therapists and a steam room I couldn’t get enough of…..loaded with Eucalyptus scent carried me through the week to ensure I didn’t get sick after several nights of no sleep in and around the long CES show this past January.
Adjacent to the pool deck, treatments include traditional Swedish massages, soothing body scrubs, and cleansing facials for a reviving experience that unites body, mind and soul. There are also soaking tubs, chaise lounges, showers and bath amenities. They offer therapeutic massages as well as stone massages. Think: heated river-worn stones gliding along with massage strokes across your body infusing heat and relaxation. The stones naturally retain heat and are strategically placed over stress points and energy releasing areas.
You can also do mud treatments, eye masques, lip restorative treatments, waxing, body treatments (body polishes), as well as a treatment whose name I just love: the Royal Milk & Honey Treatment. Even if you don’t stay at the LVC, I’d recommend giving the spa a try, particularly their fabulous steam room.
