I just had an opportunity to listen (and dance) to the Picture Perfect Band (PPB) who does a mishmash of R&B, funk and motown music. They know how to get you moving and do it with both passion, grace and a fun spirit.
I was introduced to them at a July Fourth party, so they were actually performing up on a high deck in the hills of Oakland, not in a club or pub, so the music could be heard a block away, which is when I started tapping my foot.
The band is comprised of a base of 8 world class musician-entertainers that take enormous pride in performing a virtual cornicopia of dance, and listening music in unique, recognizable and audience pleasing styles.
Every performance is delivered without the assistance of sequencers or pre-recorded music and the blend is bass, saxophone, vocals, drums, trumpet and trombone.
