The hard-work and dedication of local producers and top chefs in Ireland has resulted in food of consistently exceptional quality being distributed and appreciated across the country. However, reputation of the great Irish food experience hasn’t yet reached the wider world. The Web Summit and Good Food Ireland want to change this for the better, by raising the global profile of Irish food and drink.

In late October/early November, 10,000 people from over 90 countries will descend on Dublin city to attend the Web Summit and we’re going to greet them with the best showcase of Irish food and drink that they have ever seen. We’re inviting bakers, farmers, cheese-makers, fishermen, craft-brewers and juice-makers, all of whom live and work in Ireland.

There’ll be tastings of food and drink for thousands of attendees and the renowned chefs from Ireland’s top hotels, restaurants and food stores will be on hand to demonstrate how you can prepare food like the professionals. Amongst others, we’ll be welcoming The Merrion Hotel, Rathmullan House, The Shelbourne Hotel, Butler’s Pantry, Mount Falcon Estate, Ely, as well as cooking legend Darina Allen from the Ballymaloe Cookery School to the Food Summit in Dublin.

The Food Summit with kick off in Herbert Park (next to the RDS) at lunch time on the day of the Web Summit. All guests holding a Web Summit ticket are invited to taste the multitude of great flavors from every corner of the isle. You can find out more about the Food Summit here.
