According to a recent survey, half of all immigrants feel like outsiders in German society and say their achievements don’t measure up.

More from The Local, the survey was done by the Bertelsmann Foundation who surveyed 1,581 immigrants. Results: those from Turkey and Russia were most likely to feel like an outsider in their adopted country: 61 percent of Turkish immigrants and 55 percent of Russian immigrants said they lacked the recognition of native German citizens.
