Okay, so here I am missing Europe…….at my computer drinking water with cucumber slices and eating Thai takeout, my mind wandering back to the decadent chocolate I ate over the past couple of weeks daily. Yes daily. More than one piece of chocolate daily. C’mon, wouldn’t you have if you were me? Did I mention the perfectly made cappuccino, Italian Mirto, French wine, and Corsican cheese on every corner?
Some people compile more traditional memoires when they travel. I used to. And more on the ‘log’ part may be coming, but first, first, first…..what I ATE! Foodies will quite honestly understand. If you’re not one, just look at the photos and need I say more?
The Short List
And then there was the cheese in Corsica. Egads. One after another……brocciu, the most popular, tomme or tome, fleur du marquis or brin d’amour, bastelicaccia, sartinesi, venacu and niolo.
And the wine and liquers…..
Ah yes, eating my way through August was tres bonne. Tres. Now, back to that cucumber water.
