Even though it has only been a few days, I have grown accustomed to seeing the Eiffel Tower daily — when I rise and when I fall. The view is stunning from the kitchen flat where I’m staying near Boulevard Grenelle.
Interestingly enough, during the last two evenings, “no lights.” I suddenly felt disappointed as if something were taken away from me. I thought they always kept it lit throughout the night or perhaps they shut it off at a certain time and I’m just up later than that designated time over and over again. Yawn. A lit tower draws you in for more however, don’t you agree?
