I’ve previously mentioned how poorly the Senegalese drive, and here’s a prime example of the hazards of the roads. Who knows how this car got so smashed up – but considering how often people cut each other off, don’t look before turning, fly around curves and speed past each other in the tightest possible squeezes, it’s not surprising to see a vehicle (and possibly its owner) that didn’t make it through the Dakar driving experience.
Rachael Cullins is a twentysomething American girl living in Dakar, Senegal, with her husband and two dogs. She blogs about her adventures in Senegal and travels elsewhere in West Africa.
