Comments Off on Forgotten Heritage of Pakistan’s Rawalpindi
Rawalpindi is one of the most important city of Pakistan. Before partition of India there were many Hindu and Sikh families here. Several areas of Rawalpindi have Hindu/Sikh names like Amarpura, Angatpura, Krishanpura, Akaal-garh, Mohanpura, Bagh Sardaraan. I tried to take pictures of some old and ruined Hindu and Sikh architectures. Most of these temples and gurudwaras are in very bad conditions. There is not much information available about all these buildings. I am just writing name of places where these temples and gurudwaras are located. If you have any info regarding these buildings please let me know.
