Nighthawk Connectivity From NetGear

We’ve been expanding our technology coverage lately and plan to do more in the coming months. With the world getting more and more connected, we like to keep our eye on the ball and take a closer look at the newest innovations coming out, from small less known companies to well known brands, like NetGear, a leader in the networking space.

While they also offer a wide range for businesses, they have great options for the home, including routers, modems and home security solutions.  We took a deeper look at their Nighthawk Cable Modem, which is a router and modem baked into one which not only saves time, but hassle setting up.

You can get the Nighthawk Cable Modem over on Amazon for around $200 which is a great deal when you consider the fact that you get the router and modem together.

The Nighthawk X8 AC5300 Smart WiFi Router is the next wave in WiFi. What’s cool about router is that it offers Tri-Band WiFi and Quad Stream which gives it a performance boost with wireless speeds to up to 5.3Gbps. There are four external Active Antennas plus four internal antennas which serve to amplify the actual WiFi range.

Six gigabit Ethernet ports means even more wired devices can connect and with port aggregation two ports can combine to double maximum wired speeds. And, you can use Amazon Alexa to control your home network with voice commands. It’s a great solution for families or a small business where you have several people on the same network.

You can also get the Nighthawk X8 on Amazon for under $200.
