Jetsetter touts itself as a community of travelers that provides expert knowledge and exclusive deals on vacations. A mobile app, you can get special deals daily depending on what you’re interested in. Its Now feature enables you to book same-night hotel stays for up to 60% off.
Unlike many other apps in its category, Jetsetter is very focused and only does deals in the states on 7 cities: New York, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Deals may not appear until sometime in the afternoon, but bear in mind these are for people who wing it, travel frequently and don’t necessarily have their plans all mapped out, nor their hotels.
When I did a few searches, I saw savings of hotels that were in the $350-380 range for around $190-250. Under the Review section, there was a list called “What We Love,” which included that it is “crammed with new-wave restaurants, homegrown boutiques, speakeasy-style cocktail bars and pumping music venues.”
The “What to Know” feature is where they will email you the hotel name as soon as you book it, however you wouldn’t get the details in advance, which is a downside if location and visuals are important to you.
