I’m now testing out a couple pair of SonicFuel headphones. Below is the SonicFuel ATH-CKX7iS in a fun purple — one of the great things about their headphones is the choice of vibrant colors you can choose from and that’s of course, before we get to their functionality.
SonicFuel headphones are specifically designed for active, daily use, to so call power you forward, so whether you’re working out or simply going for a walk, they’re comfortable and stylish at the same time.
The ATH-CKX7iS SonicFuel in-ear headphones feature stay-in-place fit, which makes them stay put regardless of how much you’re moving around. The C-tip configuration nestles within the ear where it locks in place for extra stability, another nice added feature. One thing to note is that we had both women and men test these out in their ears to see if they were comfortable for both sexes and so far, it’s a winner.
So often, headsets and phones are designed for men or simply too large to be comfortable in a woman’s or smaller ear. These are flexible and include a 360˚ rotating ear tip, which adjusts to the unique angle of your ear canal for personalized fit and improved sound isolation. You can customize your comfort with a multitude of C-tip & silicone eartip sizes or use the included Comply foam eartips for true sonic immersion. Their enhanced driver system delivers clear, robust audio for the extra kick you want out of your sound.
In-line volume and microphone controls (on compatible smartphones) allow you to control music & phone calls. Another great feature that I personally loved is the flat cable which eliminates annoying tangles – it’s astonishing how much time I’ve spent untangling headphone cables – I love the fact that these stay relatively untangled for longer and are easier to pull apart when there is a tangle. They also include a great carrying pouch which is great for travelers on the go. Feature and functionality check list is below:
- 360° rotating eartip adjusts to the unique angle of your ear canal for personalized fit and better sound isolation
- C-tip design fits the shape of your ear for reliable, stay-in-place comfort
- In- line control with mic for answering/ending calls, controlling music & video playback, and controlling volume (on compatible smartphones & other portable devices)
- Flat cable eliminates annoying tangles and lasts longer
- Includes carrying pouch, Comply foam tips, silicone eartips (XS/S/M/L), C-tips (S/M/L), and tangle-free flat cable
Price is roughly $49.95 and options come in black, blue, purple, red and white. As they put it, “pure sonic goodness for the high-octane tempo of your life.” I love that description as a music lover.
The above ATH-CKX5iS SonicFuel in-ear headphones also feature stay-in-place fit, which increases the comfort. As noted, the C-tip configuration nestles within the ear where it locks in place for extra stability as well and a 360˚ rotating eartip adjusts to the unique angle of your ear canal for personalized fit and improved sound isolation. There’s also the same in-line volume and microphone controls (on compatible smartphones) which easily allow you to control music & phone calls. Features and functionality check list below:
- C-tip design fits the shape of your ear for reliable, stay-in-place comfort
- In-line control with mic for answering/ending calls, controlling music & video playback, and controlling volume (on compatible smartphones & other portable devices)
- Crisp, accurate audio reproduction
- Includes carrying pouch, eartips (XS/S/M/L), C-tips (S/M/L)
