The Watcheche Female has a new cub, hidden away in the southern parts of Londolozi. An exceptional spot by Tracker Mike Sithole led us straight to this golden leopard sitting high up in a Marula tree. Next to her was a half eaten Impala neatly hoisted. We sat admiring her beauty as she fed for over half an hour. During this time we noticed her swollen teats indicating that she was nursing. I was excited but did not want to tempt fate. Hearts started beating faster as she descended the tree and started calling. Mesmerized by what was unfolding in front of us, we sat in absolute silence. Suddenly a little head popped out through the grass and came bounding to mom… A new addition to the Leopards of Londolozi!
