Udaipur, India – Whirling Women
In honor of the Passports with Purpose Fundraising project, I’ve chosen one of my favorite photos from India this week.
A last minute decision to go to the nightly cultural show in Udaipur yielded great photographic results. I arrived late and they sat me right up front, but it was perfect for taking photos. Women in brightly colored saris whirled around me as if they were floating on air. A night to remember.
I spent a week in and around Udaipur having one of my most memorable weeks of solo travel. Cooking lessons, palaces, temples, a local birthday party and more.
