Comments Off on Let’s Do Japan: Virtual Travel Prep

Let’s Do Japan is an interactive web campaign that allows visitors to virtually experience Japanese culture as they prepare for a visit to Japan.  The site features five distinct Japanophile travelers with unique styles that represent different aspects of Japan.  These categories include Executive, Fashionista, Gourmand, Designer, and Aficionado.  As a part of the virtual experience of Japanese culture you can experience sumo ranking lists, sea bream welcome soap, and omelet rice drawing.

As a part of the site visitors will find every aspect of unique Japanese culture and trends by virtually exploring.  In addition, you can also create your own manga, Japanese-style anime character, as well as a comic to go with it.  The site is integrated with social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube

There are also two additional interactive websites with Let’s Do Japan.  The first is 360 Japan and it includes three virtual scenarios of Japanese culture: A Japanese-style restaurant, a design architecture lounge, and an Akiba café.  Users can also scroll horizontally for a full 360 degree view, as well as discover Japanese pop and traditional culture.  The second corresponds with your personal manga.  Manganizer gives users the opportunity to create their personalized character and stories via manga, the popular style of Japanese comics.
