I came across the HEALING SUMMIT when I was researching “healing” hotels committed to their guests’ well-being and I don’t just mean an extra comfy mattress for a good night’s sleep. The HEALING SUMMIT is an extension of the Healing Hotels of the World, an initiative started by Anne Biging and Elisabeth Ixmeier in 2006. (be sure to read my Q&A with founder Anne Biging)
Their annual event is being held March 5-6, 2018 in Berlin Germany and serves as a platform for professionals striving for a holistic approach to business, with the aim of creating a truly global influencer community to do good in the world.
We are thrilled to be a media partner of the event this year because so many of their values are aligned with our own.
The HEALING SUMMIT is committed to true “health” which includes our emotional and spiritual well-being which ultimately leads to real healing.
Healing is at the core of the HEALING SUMMIT and its raison d’etre. Through the event, Healing Hotels of the World and their online magazine, Just Breathe, their team shares discoveries they have made around personal fulfillment, healing, consciousness and wellness.
Now in its fifth year, the 2018 HEALING SUMMIT brings in some leading speakers from around the world who will speak, lead interactive sessions, and explore the philosophical underpinnings upon which the Healing Hotels of the World are based. Their hope is that both speakers and attendees can share what they have discovered about healing, wellness and wholeness, in a spirited forum for all of us to learn from each other.
HEALING SUMMIT Speakers
Some of this year’s speakers include physician and well-being expert, Dr. Ken Redcross, founder of Redcross Concierge, a personalized medical practice dedicated to enhancing the patient-doctor bond, Stacy Fischer-Rosenthal, President of Fischer Travel Enterprises, an elite travel and lifestyle brand and Chairman and Managing Director of India’s leading public financial institution SREI Infrastructure Finance, Hemant Kanoria.
Also on the agenda is Mia Kyricos of Kyricos & Associates, a boutique advisory firm providing strategic guidance to wellness, hospitality, tourism and lifestyle companies, Jinhai Lake International Tourism Town/Riverside Group’s Iliam Yang, Carina Preuss of Ayurveda Parkschloesschen, Grand Bay Hotel Beijing’s Julia Zhang, author and founder of The Retreat Costa Rica and Truth Bar Diana Stobo, Sukhavati Ayurvedic Retreat & Spa’s Steve Griffith, Wellbeing Escape’s Stella Photi, Spirit Yoga’s Patricia Thielemann, Destination Spa Management’s Samantha Forster and others.
They will also focus on the activities and initiatives of the Healing Hotel member hotels as well as showcase the latest developments and insights into the world of healing.
The HEALING SUMMIT emerged in response to Anne’s belief that people around the world are yearning for deeper ways to live a more fulfilled life while providing opportunities for others.
“Five years ago, we knew intrinsically that there was a real need to bring together people from all corners of the globe and from completely different cultures to share concepts and ideas about how to become better, more joyful individuals, while being mindful of those in need around us.”
— Anne Biging
There are meditation breaks during the conference and plenty of networking where you can engage with experts in the field of wellness, hospitality, travel, hotels, spirituality and health.
As a media partner, we are proud to join other sponsors and partners at HEALING SUMMIT 2018, which include Gharieni, manufacturer of spa, wellness, beauty and medical equipment, Biologique Recherche Skin Care and European Spa Magazine, the #1 business magazine for spa and wellness.
How to Attend
The beautiful thing about the HEALING SUMMIT is that registration is only limited to 150 participants, making it a small and intimate gathering. In my experience of attending hundreds of events over the years, small and intimate equates to a much higher likelihood of truly connecting with other participants and transforming what you know about the world of health and wellness.
Check out the speaker line up and the agenda for more information and be sure to follow them over on Twitter and Facebook as well. You can register here.
