Let’s face it. It’s that time of year when we’re all thinking of a trip to break up winter. Even in northern California where the weather is almost always moderate, we look forward to any early spring getaway for opportunities to wear our favorite sandals, swimsuit cover ups and dresses.
SOMA Sandals
Meet SOMA, known for their handmade leather sandals for the style conscious. SOMA offers elegant sandals that are completely handmade with high quality leather and are a whole lot more unique than others you might find in a similar category.
From more classic options like the above casual sandal to more trendy and sophisticated options like the gorgeous sandal below, you can opt for all things chic or all things comfy with SOMA. This double strap sandal comes in an exotic snakeskin leather and is as comfortable as it is gorgeous.
They also offer simple but lovely flats which are great for avid travelers. More information can be found at: https://somashoes.com/.
Sea Lily Cover-Ups & Dresses
A new brand for us is Sea Lily who surprised us with their fabulous collection of cover-ups and dresses for that winter getaway. I fell in love with their Ella Dress in a tribal print from their Gypsy collection, which has a colorful high-low hem, great for going out at a resort or walking along the beach. This makes for a great swimsuit cover up with its flattering scoop front neck. I plan to bring it with me on an upcoming Caribbean trip – bravo!
