Four weeks in Istanbul means a lot of photos! Here are some of my favorite more obscure shots from some familiar and not so familiar parts of the city. When I can travel slow and have the time to really live in a city – I enjoy getting out and seeing the local life outside of the tourist attractions. I was lucky enough to meet locals who were eager to show me their city beyond the Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Basilica Cistern and Hagia Sophia. Thanks to my new local friends I was able to experience beautiful sunsets and sunrises, try new foods, and really get to know my way around Istanbul with my camera.
