Take a stroll with me through Paris during a very cold week earlier this December. They were taken on different days in different neighborhoods although I spent most of my time between the Latin Quarter and The Marais for the bulk of the shots I’m publishing here. Take a look at the post I wrote earlier this week about the padlocks attached to Paris bridges to signify love from romantics around the world.
College des Bernardins on Rue de Poissy
Along rue Saint Merri
Kids play in the courtyard of the Cluny Museum where chess pieces are as large as they are. (Museum of the Middle Ages).
College des Bernadins
The Left Bank near the Latin Quarter.
The familiar Notre Dame.
College des Bernardins on Rue de Poissy
Left bank near the Latin Quarter.
Somewhere in the Marais.
Galerie Brugier Rigail at Rue Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie
Lovers embrace at St. Michel.
An afternoon coffee break outside when the temperature is only 25 degrees.
Near the corner of Boulevard Saint Germain.
Rue St. Andre des Arts.
Cakes and pastries at Cafe Molango.
Cappucino.
Shakespeare & Company.
Shops in the Marais.
Somewhere in the Marais.
A wonderful little creperie in the Marais. (she was working on a chevre cheese and spinach one when we approached).
Locks on the bridges, meant to seal love from romantics who left them here around the world.
However you look at it, the trend continues as you can see from the shots I captured walking over the bridge, only to fall upon more later on in the day. Most of the bridge shots were taken at or around Pont de L’Archeveche.
