I discovered another fabulous photographer recently – Octavio Aburto. The photo below is a fairly recent one (November 2012), but he says that the image has been in his head for about three years when he first witnessed the tornado that these fish create when courting. Yes, they’re courting. In the photo is a friend of the photographer David Castro, a divemaster who is working with the Cabo Pulmo National Park to protect it and marine live in the area.
