I just got back from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and my last trip to this cultural Asian city gem was on a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with my dad. It has changed and developed so much since that time.

Meet Oh, a friend of mine from Thailand working in Vietnam. We caught the Conor McGregor fight on Sunday morning before I flew out. I was surprised how packed the bars were at 8AM for the fight.
While Conor didn’t win it was an impressive show for a non-boxer to fight the best boxer ever. Overall is was a good fight. I look forward to his return to MMA.

It’s about 75 Kilometers from my house to Narita. There is no convenient place to grab coffee leaving my house before getting on the highway. I usually leave pretty early for the airport so coffee is a must. I once heard there was a Starbucks on the way to Nartia but I have never been able to find it. I finally found it on one of my recent trips.
It’s at one of the rest stops about half way to Narita. I’ve check a few different stops in the past but it was never the right one. I now have a happy half way point to stop off at now on my way to Narita.
Nartia Airport
My view a few times a month. I look forward to a life with less travel one day.

This is what I looks like when I settle in for 19 hours of travel. Door to door its about 23 hours if you figure it takes about 2 hours to get to the airport and you arrive 2 hours before your flight takes off. People always forget how big Asia is.
Brew Dog Beer
My new favorite beers are Dead Pony and Punk IPA from Brew Dog. They have a restaurant in Tokyo near my office. I went there a few months ago when there was a meet up about Real Estate investing. There is a new 24 hour pub in the Singapore Airport that servers Brew Dog. A pleasant surprise for my layover.
