Industry pal John Gartner’s new company Matter Media is teaming up with GreenFit. GreenFit, a video production company that is headed by the West Wing executive producer Llewellyn Wells is producing the video content and co-producing Chasing Glaciers in conjunction with Matter Media, which is a media company that continuously examines the ideas, products and opportunities that power success in a sustainable world. The collaboration also includes PermissionTV.
It includes daily vlogs, blogs, photos, and maps about the journey, along with supporting videos about the team and articles about climate change and glacier melt.
“Chasing Glaciers” chronicles a 21,000 foot ascent in the Karakoram Mountains by world-class athletes Alison Gannett and Zoe Hart. Together with respected documentary filmmakers Curt Dowdy and Bill Stevenson, Gannett, a world-champion free skier and career environmentalist, and Hart, the first American woman certified as an Alpine mountain guide, are combining their two passions: extreme sports and environmental consciousness.
