BlogWorldExpo teamed up this year with BakeSpace.com’s TECHmunch Food Blogger Conference to host a first-ever track specifically for food bloggers. The interactive series of panels covered all the latest tools and tactics for taking your blog to the next level. They covered everything from building buzz, improving SEO and growing your audience to working with brands and making money.
BakeSpace’s Babette Pepaj, GitchingKitchenV’s Nadia Giosia, Food columnist Jaden Hair and Brett Elrich talked about monetizing your content and building your brand. MySpace’s Sean Percival, Lee Odden, Jennifer Perillo and John Shiple covered the art and science of recipe writing. On leveraging traditional media and getting them to notice you, Journalist Andrea Metcalf moderated a panel with Tampa Tribune Food Editor Jeff Houck, CNN’s Eatocracy Kat Kinsman and LA Times Daily Dish Food Editor Rene Lynch. Techmunch’s Interactive Kitchen panels included: BakeSpace’s Melody Pepaj, WiredPR and Host of Foodieslive.com Beth Cochran, Average Betty’s Lee O’Donnell, Vlogging Street Food Daniel Delaney and Sara O’Donnell, also with Average Betty.
