American Airlines is the Official Airline of SXSW 2013, and are hosting a lounge in the Austin Convention Center for the entire duration of SXSW and an Oasis on 6th Street during SXSW Music in Austin Texas starting this week. The lounge and oasis will allow attendees to recharge (themselves and their mobile devices) and learn all about the new American Airlines.
American will also be co-hosting the inaugural Travel Hack with AT&T – an overnight hack-a-thon on March 9-10, 2013. Visit American Airlines at SXSW for more about their activities on-site this year.
They have changed their look to reflect the progress they have made on the inside, revealing a new logo and the refreshed exterior of their planes. By combining with US Airways, they plan to create a premier global carrier with an expanded domestic and global network to better match where people want to fly.
Their team will be in full force in Austin for the next week and a half.
