Once again, dear readers, I had an amazing vantage point for this year’s Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration here in Manhattan. So now that I’ve processed a few and made them all pretty, I thought I’d share some of the finer shots from my collection.
Most of the shots were taken with my iPhone, which makes them seem that much more amazing, considering how good many of them turned out. A few were also taken with my Nikon D3100 DLSR, which did a remarkable job of capturing detail and color.
Now I know you photo nerds are out there mocking me, but I’m happy with my equipment because of the light weight and portability. Keeping things to an iPhone 4S for wide angle shots and my little Nikon for detail shots is the perfect combination for satisfying my amateur photography Jones.
So, I hope you enjoy these.
