Sometimes, when you live in Manhattan, you get to sit under the setting sun in Central Park (along with tens of thousands of your fellow city dwellers), eating delicious snacks and drinking wine with friends while the New York Philharmonic plays in the background. For free. Recently, we went to the Great Lawn for part of the Concert in the Parks series. And when the sun sets, there’s nothing more magical.
They had fireworks after the concert which, for us, were located directly behind a huge tree. Still pretty though!
