Great Outdoor Spaces in San Francisco

Comments Off on Great Outdoor Spaces in San Francisco

From the Painted Ladies to the Transamerica Pyramid, San Francisco has some of the most recognizable architecture in the country. Did you know, though, that there are nearly 70 beautiful Open Spaces that are privately owned yet open to the public? These urban spaces include a 5-story garden with a mezzanine, cafe and table and chairs, rooftop spaces, greenhouses and indoor parks throughout the city. As part of city incentive programs, private building owners began to add park features to their spaces, beginning with our very own Transamerica Pyramid in the late 1960s. Get out of your cube, grab a coffee or lunch and enjoy one of these special gems.
