Donna from Donnaland is bright, spunky, funny and engaging. On the road across the country — and world — she collects accessories, jewelry, vintage clothing and more and sets up shop at various expos.
I met her in California, and while she admits she’s on the road a lot, she says “I have a farm and a husband back in Missouri.” Her passion? Making people happy with cool discoveries that she finds.
I have to admit that her booth at the most recent vintage expo was larger than any other with vintage pieces starting in the 1930s although most of what I saw seemed to be 1950s and 1960s. Her jewelry was diverse and “fun.” I ended up with a fun costume piece for a wopping $16 but a friend of mine ended up parting with over $200 for a couple of sets and a brogue.
I interviewed her in the middle of a fairly busy Saturday, so sales seemed to be coming in…..and women seemed to be leaving happy. I did. Have a listen in the video below:
