I’ve been hosting and attending women’s clothing swaps for years. Men don’t have rituals that come anywhere close to a clothing swap, a place where women gather, exchange clothes, shoes, accessories, wine, food, and stories from childhood to present day. It’s a fabulous excuse to connect — something women love to do.
The main difference between east and west coast swaps is the amount of color. New England exchanges tend to be full of greens, browns and blacks. On the west coast, it’s an entirely different story:
