The young generations are not only are they about to inherit the most catastrophic issues in the history of mankind – many of which stem from a basic lack of values and vision – but they themselves are searching for identity, direction and meaning. And what message are they hearing from one of their greatest sources of influence – namely, their music?

The Millennials listen to an average of 40 hrs of music per week. The most popular genre in today’s culture is “Rap,” and more than 77% of the time it references drugs and alcohol (Pew Report).

There’s a city in our own backyard where the young people are lost and are reaching out to find their way. Do you hear them?

The U&i Now Foundation are trying to use innovative ways to reach people. Their feeling is that you first have to bring them together in an atmosphere they can relate to.  They love to party – so that’s where they start.  Party With a Purpose is a high energy music and dance blow out — a fun night free of drugs and alcohol bringing people together to connect in a positive way, to find purpose and meaning, and to learn how to be givers.  More information can be found here about how you can help and get involved.
