From June 13-15, 2013 at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg Russia, the White Nights of St. Petersburg will host their annual International Music Festival. This year’s festival program includes: competition of young singers all over the world, performances of world stars, and social projects.
All teams participating in the competition were selected by experts of Festival. The Festival “White Nights of St. Petersburg” has a noble purpose: to contribute to the promotion of talented young artists, inspire the world community and promote cultural unity and friendly cooperation while raising the image of Russia as a whole.
The White Nights of St. Petersburg is the first and the only of this kind in Russia. Last year, honored guests included Michael Bolton, Paula Abdul, Anastacia, Mika, Simple Minds, David Hasselhof, Spandau Ballet and Eros Ramazzotti.
Over the years, the Festival was attended by the biggest stars of world music: Jethro Tull, Boney M, A-Ha, Whitesnake, Glenn Hughes, Rick Wakeman, Joe Cocker, Steve Vai, Mr. Big, Jose Carreras, Ronnie James Dio, Chris Rea, Status Quo, Bryan May (ex. Queen), Julio Iglesias, Ringo Starr & All Starr Band, Deep Purple, Kevin Costner, Woody Allen and many others.
