3 Top Luxury Resorts in the Caribbean For Your Bucket List

For luxury accommodation planning purposes, put these three luxurious properties on your list when planning a trip to Barbados, St. Barts and Anguilla in the Caribbean islands.

Sandy Lane, Barbados

Sandy Lane has been around since 1961. It is the ultimate beach, spa and golf getaway for people who are all about luxury and style.  Apparently it draws a lot of the British celebrities as well so it makes for great people watching as well. Think style baby style. Golf lovers will also be all over Sandy Beach as there are three to choose from, the best being The Green Monkey, its so called crown jewel.  Sandy Lane conjures up images of serene style in an idyllic resort setting.

Luxury orchid suites are two-bedroom garden suites in the Orchid Wing which are romantically set within the tropical flowers and fauna at Sandy Lane. Each offers a stylish living area, patio with dining area and master bedroom with an elegant bathroom. The second bedroom has its own bathroom and private balcony.

Eden Rock, St. Barts

Where do you go when extravagant just isn’t enough? Check yourself into one of Eden Rock – St Barths‘ ultra-luxe villas such as Villa Rockstar complete with four sumptuous suites, two cottages for teenagers or staff, a sexy whisky bar, private pool and a recording studio and screening room complete with a vintage sound board used by John Lennon himself. Private butlers will ensure you and your 12 guests feel like rock stars while chefs cook up gourmet cuisine in the Italian-designed kitchen. It’s the ultimate beach house within a resort.

While there are lots of accommodations types to choose from, including beachside and garden suites and more traditional rooms, I loved the ones they refer to heavenly accommodations. They offer one and two bedroomed split level houses on the beach overlooking the ocean. All offer spacious living areas, kitchen, ensuite bathrooms, Jacuzzi, terraces and gardens.

Jasmine and Ixora are split level villas with views across the lush lawn, sandy beach and the turquoise water of the Caribbean Sea just beyond. Each villa has an upstairs bedroom, large bathroom and sunning terrace. The living area on the ground level can be used as a second bedroom with separate shower and w.c. facilities. Butler pantries with cooking facilities and washer dryer units. These villas have private spa pools – perfect to enjoy à deux or with friends and family. And, Orchid has a comfortable sitting room area and kitchenette, as well as a luxurious spa pool and several sun and shade terraces. In addition, an enormous roof terrace overlooking the bay and has a fabulous day-bed with lots of comfy cushions on which to relax and entertain.

The outstanding, beach-side Villa Rockstar is a huge, ultra luxe, multi-faceted house which is being described as resembling ‘a hundred million dollar yacht on land.’Rockstar’s enormous 16,000 sq feet include beautiful detailing, perfect cuisine and the superb housekeeping often associated with world-class yachting – yet the villa suffers no bumpy seas – so it might well be ideal for people who put up with the latter. Villa Rockstar comprises north and south houses connected by a fountain courtyard and cloisters. The property is particularly private and secure, with its own gate onto a vast beach of soft pink and white coral sand.

Viceroy, Anguilla

Like most Viceroy properties, the Viceroy in Anguilla’s Barnes and Meads Bay is all about luxury and contemporary with a little modern pizzazz thrown in, something that those who love to live in style gravitate to. They have beautiful residences and villas which are luxuriantly decorated by renowned interior designer Kelly Wearstler, and the rooms include spa pools, gourmet kitchens and outdoor showers.  With 483 square feet of living space, Viceroy King accommodations feature a custom-designed four-poster king bed and a marble bathroom appointed with double sinks, a deep soaking tub and an oversized walk-in shower. Bask in the Caribbean sun on the spacious outdoor sundeck with chaise lounges for two.

They offer 4,335 square feet, four bedroom BlufftopVillas (above), with partial ocean views. They come with a custom-designed four-poster king bed both in each bedroom with two queens in the fourth bedroom, full gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room, washer and dryer, four marble bathrooms featuring double sinks, a deep soaking tub, and oversized walk-in shower. Guests will enjoy stunning views over Barnes Bay from the deck, as well as a private pool, chaise lounges, a spa pool, an outdoor grill, a cabana and two outdoor showers. Additional amenities include butler service and complimentary internet access, with the option of private chef services.

I have read this blog and it is quite interesting. I just love to travel and last month I had visited Greece for holiday vacation with my family. I stayed at ikos resort which is a Sophisticated and elegant with subtle touches of luxury throughout. Striking rooms with outstanding views all around here. Awesome experience.
