The biennial Hong Kong Photo Festival is a showcase of talented local photographers and a platform for exchanging ideas on photography in Asia.

This year, it will be held from October 6, 2012 to November 30, 2012, and will feature six large-scale exhibitions that look back on the development of photography in Hong Kong.

The event will also shed light on the latest global trends in the field.  To further cultivate the craft of photography in Hong Kong, the festival will also feature an array of events for young photographers and the public.
