Speaking to us from London, Swami Saradananda says she feels most at home in India, and travels there often for renewal and to visit her non-profit that helps others in distress. As an author and international teacher, she speaks to us about her latest book: Sitting Comfortably, which speaks to the importance of our comfort when sitting and how it helps us meditate and connect.
She also talks about the chakras and yoga on her own spiritual journey to where she is now. Swami Saradananda is a renowned yoga and meditation teacher who has authored several books on chakras, including “The Essential Guide to Chakras” and “Chakra Meditation”. She has been teaching yoga for nearly forty years and has worked with the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres for 26 years, directing facilities in various locations. Her work focuses on balancing energy and promoting well-being through the understanding and activation of the chakras.
