When did a four inch screen make a smartphone mini?
The newest member of the Galaxy family – the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is supposedly being unveiled tomorrow. Thanks to the German tech blog Mobile Geeks, here are the features & best of the Galaxy S3 Mini:
The Galaxy S3 Mini will feature a 4-inch AMOLED display with WVGA resolution (800 x 480). On the inside, the Galaxy S3 Mini GT-I8190 will be powered by a dual-core STE U8420 chip presumably clocked at 1GHz. The phone will also feature the standard (these days) 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD with up to 32GB.
The Galaxy S3 Mini features a 5MP rear camera, with autofocus and LED flash, and a front facing VGA camera. The camera is claimed to have a 5-megapixel sensor (the S III has 8-megapixels), although it will contain the same amount of RAM, 1GB. The battery will be a 1500mAh model.
Mobile Geeks claims that the Galaxy S III Mini will come with with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean from the box and feature Wi-Fi, DLNA, a Micro USB connection, and NFC for sharing between handsets/contactless payment.
