Serious luxury spa lovers, have your sight on Pure Indulgence Spa when you head to Aruba. It’s all things luxury, cutting edge and contemporary, from its sleek stone, marble, glass, water and wood elements throughout the space.
They start you out with a foot soak in rose petals, whether you’re having a pedicure or not.
Inside, it’s glorious, with floor to ceiling windows. Below, the winding stairs take you up to the manicure and pedicure lounge which faces the sea and breathtaking views. I had a hair cut on this level just to experience the views, however typically you’d go to their salon for a hair treatment, cut, or color.
Downstairs, they have treatment treatment rooms which use soothing colors and warm turquoise accents. Think massages, wraps, facials, mani-peds and more. Because they have such a comprehensive offerings, you can also sign up for energy work and chakra balancing.
Special couples’ treatments include private beach cabana massage and special “Pure Lover’s Suite,” which features the most luxurious Microsilk Hydrotherapy Jacuzzi Bath and their Raindance Rainmaker Rainshower, Massage Jets, and a Couples Steam Room.
There are lovely accents throughout the spa which are sure to put you in a relaxing mood before any of your treatments start.
I oped to have a massage outside in one of the private cabanas which they offer. Why not? They face the ocean and you have the benefit of warm breezes, swaying palms and the sound of the waves softly crashing up against the shore.
To get from the spa to the outdoor massage cabanas, you need to walk through a lush area of palm trees to get there. Pure bliss.
The outside cabana on the beach….
They offer the following types of massages: Signature Aromatherapy, Sea Escape, Pure Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, and something they refer to as Heaven and Earth Hot Stone Therapy which you can do as a couple as well. Below, relaxing on the beach right after my cabana massage.
Below is the entryway to the spa itself – I love the warm but fun colors American-born Angie Wallace, the owner of the spa, has curated at Pure Indulgence.
If I had more time, I would have loved to try one of their energy healing sessions. You can also have body wraps which are always so detoxifying, such as Green Tea and Seaweed Body Exfoliation or the Mojito Citrus C-Body Exfoliation. There’s also lovely hands and feet treatments, six different facials of which Organic is an integral part of them, and the full service hair salon I mentioned above. Because they do a lot of weddings, they will also come to the bride and/or guests’ hotel room and do hair at your location, which is great if you have a special occasion.

I’d highly recommend giving them a try next time you’re in Aruba. Choose from two single suites, a loft featuring Nails as noted above with ocean views, the Private Beach Cabana offering Massages which I did and two couples suites.
Locker Rooms are fully equipped oh so luxe amenities such as waterfall showers, massage jets, and hand held European water features. Two thumbs up!!
