Regular readers will notice that we’ve been expanding our coverage of wellness, mind/body experiences and spirituality lately, so it should be no surprise that we were a media partner and exhibited at the New Living Expo in the San Francisco Bay Area in late April.
Now in its 16th year, the New Living Expo is San Francisco Bay Area’s premier conference and exhibition for expanded awareness of body, mind and spirit. Lectures, workshops, special events and panel discussions, covered the latest in mindfulness, wellness, spirituality and enlightenment across three days in late April.
The Expo features a large 180+ booth exhibit hall, Qigong and meditation demonstrations, an Organic Food Dining area, a Food Network-Style Cooking Stage, a large scale Alternative Book Store featuring book signings all weekend, free Saturday night concert and much more. There were even chiropractics, psychics on hand, discussions on UFOs, extraterrestrial life, meditation rooms, outdoor yoga classes and vendors selling gemstones for health, balance and well-being.
Ever see a singing bowl look this beautiful?
There were also essential oils, holistic drinks, shakes, health bars and products to help with mindfulness, relaxation, energy, healing and even EMF protection (see an earlier article I did on EMFs and also helpful EMF products and solutions).
We have a wellness products section now and hope to review some of the products we discovered and learned about at the expo.
Ugly produce needs a home too.
And, there was also clothing and jewelry vendors as well. I personally loved some of the designs that were shown on-site.
Beautiful materials all the way over from Bali.
Art can be therapeutic and inspire creativity right? We think so and those who led sessions at the expo think so too.
This year, New Living Expo had a superb line-up of speakers including Dr. Michael Beckwith, best selling author don Miguel Ruiz, William Henry, Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, Deborah King, Matt Khan, Barbara Marx Hubbard, David Wilcock, Daniel Pinchbeck, Corey Goode and many others.
It was held at the San Mateo Event Center and they offered a special shuttle service from the Millbrae BART station, and BART, SamTrans and CalTrain all offer special ticket offers in connection with the event. For a full program guide, more information on speakers and sessions held, visit www.newlivingexpo.com.
We loved the event and have it on our annual calendar so be sure to check it out and mark April of next year for a must attend in the San Francisco Bay Area.
