I recently headed to Queensland Australia! This is my 3rd trip to Australia, however I had never been to this part of the country and I must say that I’m loving the laid back atmosphere and less touristed areas!
There was no rest for the weary – I started this week with personal surfing lessons, yoga, hiking, and horseback riding along the beach on the aptly named Sunshine Coast in the adorable beach town of Noosa. Fine dining, sunshine and fresh air…perfection! This week was all about trying new things,(surfing, horseback riding) and appreciation.
Surfers wait to catch the last perfect wave before the sun sets on the Sunshine Coast
Did super afternoon hike out to Hell’s Gate in Noosa National Park. The trail hugs the coast – beautiful!
Meet my horse Moose! He took me on an amazing beach ride today for 2 hrs. I had so much fun learning to canter and trot. It felt like we were running along the beach at full speed however I have a feeling reality was a bit different speed! Regardless my legs and butt will pay for this tomorrow!
That’s my ice cream being made right in front of my eyes in 4 minutes from Nitogenie. Nitrogen added to the ice cream recipe in the Kitchenaid flash freezes it. Fun to eat and watch!
Love the surf culture @visitsunshinecoast ! Found this beauty parked near the beach. Picture perfect!
Left the beach behind today for this! Rolling green pastures, cows, agriculture, lakes, and mountains of South Queensland!
