I had so much fun at the Kanazawa Fish Market, that I ended up taking over 500 photos of fish. Yes, really. There was certainly no shortage of seafood delicacies to choose from and I felt like a kid in a candy store for the first time, there was so much to choose from. Located on the west coast of Japan, Kanazawa is mostly known for its serene strolls and its castles, as well as its samurai district (Nagamachi Samurai House Row). While you should absolutely explore the castle, the Machi district and more of what we talk about in our general Kanazawa and Geisha District posts, the seafood market is an experience NOT TO BE MISSED!
Join me on this journey — be sure to watch the video at the end of this post which will give you what it was really like to be there and sample some of the things I did. Yum!
Now for that fun video I promised.

Note: the trip to Japan was hosted by Princess Cruises, including the stop in Kanazawa, however all opinions expressed are entirely my own.
