Incredible Images From Yella Jordan

Prayer Beads

Yella means “Let’s Go!” in Arabic – a favorite word of mine.  This Friday I have a few last remaining nuggets of photo goodness from Jordan.  I’m moving on from Jordan…next stop Lebanon!  However, I wanted to share a few of my favorite photos from Jordan which speak to the culture, landscape, and experiences of Jordan.  It was a wonderful country for me to visit and I’m sure I will be back again as I left many things left undone…maybe on purpose!  Thanks to GeoVisions for having me participate in their Conversation Partner Program.  No doubt it made the experience more in depth than I ever could have received as a tourist.

View all of my Jordan photography from my month long stay in this amazing country.

Jordan man peace

This man was selling bananas in the market and begged for his picture to be taken. The people of Jordan exceeded my expectations tenfold!

Amman

I loved the old gritty downtown Amman area best – it definitely had the most character(s)!

But like the sun, we all must go. Only to come back and visit again someday.
