There’s no story here, except to say that I was astonished by the fact that New Mexico sunsets are on par with Arizona sunsets, at least my recollection of them as a teenager when we lived in Yuma. The western sunsets were always mesmerizing but on this long drive across country at the beginning of the year, I was taken in by New Mexico’s beautiful skies across wide open deserts, from the time we left Ojo Caliente to the point we crossed the Arizona border.
We took a slight trek south before heading west — all the way to the Arizona border. Alas, let her skies and sunsets do the talking!!
