Arizona’s popular locally produced TV show on Eight, Arizona PBS, takes over downtown Phoenix. CityScape will become a live food event highlighting Arizona’s independent restaurant scene. Featuring everything from five-star dining establishments to hole-in-the-wall cafes. Eight’s Check, Please! Arizona Festival at CityScape will showcase at least 36 of 117 independently owned Check, Please! Arizona restaurants featured on the show.
The event will also have wine and craft beer seminars, cooking demonstrations by Arizona’s celebrity chefs and a James-Beard Award winner discussion panel. The panel will feature foodie celebraties Nobuo Fukuda, Christopher Gross, Chris Bianco, and Robert McGrath, who also hosts Eight’s Check, Please! Arizona.
In addition to the culinary adventure of this whole event, fans will have the chance to audition to be on Check, Please! Arizona. The producers are after fans who are passionate bout their favorite local spot, well versed about food, and honest about dining-out experiences.
