Hana Spring Harvest Brings Culture, Cuisine & Community to Life

Comments Off on Hana Spring Harvest Brings Culture, Cuisine & Community to Life

On May 11, the tranquil town of Hana in Hawaii comes alive for an evening of culture, cuisine and community.  The Hana Spring Harvest is a night full of talented, passionate, and community minded innovators representing the next generation of cuisine.  Your taste palate will be dancing and your senses filled with a  five-course cocktail paired dinner.  The meal will be accompanied with live Hawaiian music, under the stars, painting of one of Hawaii’s breathtaking scenes.

The event will benefit two local nonprofits: The Hana Youth Center, which promotes Hawaiian values and an after school program, as well as Mahele Farm, which is a cooperative farm. As a part of the festivities there will also be some star chefs and bartenders headed to Hana.  They will include Sheldon Simeon, Dave Power, Barry Villiarimo, and more; the dinner will take pace at Travaasa Hana’s intimate turn-of-the-centry Plantation Guest House.
